Ordering & Sizing

Are your dresses custom made?

Yes. Every LEDSSIWE dress is made to order with a tailoring time of 7–12 business days, followed by 3–5 business days of express shipping within the US (10–17 business days total).

Should I choose standard or custom size?

If your measurements are within about 1 inch (2.5 cm) of one standard size, choose standard. If you are between sizes, petite, tall, plus size, or have non-standard proportions, choose Custom Size and send your measurements using our measuring guide. See our Custom Size Policy.

How do I measure myself?

Follow our [Size Chart & Measuring Guide]. Use a soft tape, wear your planned undergarments, and ideally have someone help. For floor-length dresses with heels, tell us your heel height and we add 5 cm / 2 in.

What if my measurements fall between sizes?

Order by your largest measurement; the other areas can be adjusted by a local tailor using the seam allowance.

Is custom sizing extra?

Custom sizing is completely free and does not add any extra production time. The same measurements work for all styles, including long sleeves.

Can I change my measurements after ordering?

Only within 24 hours and before production starts. Once cut, measurements cannot be changed.

Production & Delivery

How long until I receive my dress?

Tailoring takes 7–12 business days and US express shipping takes 3–5 business days. Order at least 3–4 weeks before your event; during prom season (March–May) order earlier.

I need it by a specific date. What should I do?

Choose the optional Rush Service (+$30) on the product page, or email us before ordering with your event date. We will confirm feasibility. Do not rely on standard timelines for urgent events.

How does Rush Service work?

For a flat $30 per dress, select Rush on the product page. Rush tailoring takes 6–8 business days instead of the standard 7–12; with US express shipping (3–5 business days), total delivery is about 9–13 business days. Rush cannot remove carrier delays caused by customs or force majeure.

How can I track my order?

A tracking number is emailed when the dress ships and is also visible in your account under Orders.

How much does shipping cost?

US express shipping (3–5 business days) is $30 for the first dress and $15 for each additional dress. Orders over $499 ship free.

Do I have to pay customs or duties?

No. All US orders are shipped Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) — import duties and customs clearance are included in the price at checkout, and nothing extra will be charged on delivery.

Returns, Exchanges & Quality

Can I return a custom-size dress?

Custom-size dresses are final sale because they are cut to your measurements, except when we made the dress incorrectly against your confirmed measurements or it arrives defective.

Can I return a standard-size dress?

Yes, within 14 days of delivery, unworn with tags attached. One exchange is available for standard size. See Return & Exchange Policy.

What if the dress arrives damaged or wrong?

Report it within 7 days with photos. We remake it correctly for free with expedited shipping or refund in full, including shipping.

The color looks slightly different from my screen.

Screens and fabric light reflection cause minor color differences and are not defects. Contact us before ordering if an exact shade matters.

Will I need alterations?

Minor local alterations are normal for formalwear. All dresses include seam allowance. Standard alterations are the customer's responsibility except in our error cases.

Payment & Account

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) through Shopify Payments, our secure checkout provider. Additional payment options may be added later.

Is my payment information safe?

Payments are processed by certified secure payment providers; we never store full card numbers.

Do you offer wholesale?

LEDSSIWE currently sells directly to customers only. For wholesale or partnership inquiries, email sales@ledssiwe.shop and our team will respond.
